the Reverend James Reese

Pastor Reese came to us in the early months of 2006 and has guided our small flock with a steady hand. His specialty is bringing the Bible to life in the modern day world.
He has preached many dynamic sermons mixed with stories and anecdotes linked to everyday life. Each Sunday he brings a new message we can really use throughout the week.

Mr. Ray Moyer

Ray is our Director of Music. He has been keeping our music upbeat and in key for several years. Ray has helped in every staff position Roanoke Avenue Baptist has from deacon through interim pastor. We have proven we can't sing without him time and time again!

Ms. Nancy Harris

Ms. Harris is our Pianist. Nancy has provided music at Roanoke Avenue Baptist for several years. She is expert at any music that comes her way and can play any hymn written. Nancy makes a bad song, sound good.

You will find that a much of what makes Roanoke Avenue Baptist so special are the members listed only on this page. Each of our staff has stood ready time and again for anyone when need arose. We thank them for being with us and love them dearly.
